Mariska Hargitay is giving fans an important update after suffering multiple leg injuries.
On Thursday, the Law and Order: SVU actress shared an Instagram photo of herself after being discharged from the hospital. The 57-year-old star explained that she started going to the doctor as soon as she began feeling pain in her legs. It turned out to be pretty serious, as evidenced by her wearing a knee brace and boot.
“#ThatFeelingWhen, you go to the doctor, get an MRI and find out that you have a broken knee, a hairline fracture in your ankle, and a torn ligament,” she captioned the pic. “It’s always a good idea to go to the doctor. Immediately. Great news is I don’t need surgery???????? ????????.”
It’s unclear how Mariska was injured but she clarified that it wasn’t on the set of the NBC drama. “Thanks for all the love folks! Just so you know this is did NoT happen at work!” she added.
